The main focus of the role is to undertake routine maintenance, servicing and repair of control, safety and standard process valves. The position is in the main, workshop based but occasional site visits throughout the UK would be expected.
You will be ‘hands on’ and be comfortable repairing and testing all types of valves/different manufacturers and the various operators.

This post requires mainly site work where periods of overnight stay may be required. Weekend and overtime work is always a possibility in this customer focussed industry.
We are looking for a full time Contracts Engineer, 40 hours per week – 07.30-16.00 around Salary dependant on experience.
The role will entail going to customer sites to look at the boiler and boiler house and identify what work is required, on return to the office complete a quote including specifics on exactly what work needs to be done such as D-Patch, valve repair, etc and what labour will be required and liaise with suppliers over material costs. Reading technical drawings would be essential. The candidate would need the skills to manage the whole project from start to finish to ensure it is completed correctly, including H&S submitting RAMS and ensuring the engineers are working safely. They will need to have proficient use of Microsoft Word as they will be required to type up their quotes / estimations. Autocad would be preferred but not essential.
